About Darrell
Darrell Peart started his career in the early 1970s, making and selling small wooden items at Seattle’s Pike Place Market. He later worked for several high end custom shops throughout the Puget Sound area, building a broad background in commercial and custom furniture making.
Darrell’s passion lies in exploring new design ideas. The influence of Greene and Greene is clear in his work, but he draws from a wide range of other sources too, and he writes and lectures about design, woodworking and the history of Greene and Greene.
- Author of Greene and Greene: Design Elements for the Workshop and In the Greene & Greene Style: Projects and Details for the Woodworker
- Articles in Fine Woodworking, Popular Woodworking, Home Furniture, American Woodworker, Woodworker West, Australian Wood Review and many more
