The Greene & Greene Mirror Frame course is a detailed woodworking project focused on the signature elements that make Greene & Greene furniture so distinctive. This Greene and Greene mirror frame course gives you a manageable project that still includes plenty of high-impact techniques, including template shaping, half-lap joinery, decorative inlay, ebony plugs, and careful edge treatment.

Marc walks through the process of building a frame with stepped thicknesses, graceful cloud-lift curves, and layered details that give the piece depth and character. You’ll learn how to use templates for repeatable shapes, cut and refine the frame joinery, create clean recesses for ebony accents, and shape proud details so they feel intentional rather than simply applied.

The course also covers practical decisions throughout the build, including material selection, routing strategy, chisel cleanup, plug and inlay fitting, sanding, and finish choices. The project is small enough to be approachable, but it includes lessons that carry over into larger furniture builds, especially when it comes to working with templates, managing delicate details, and making decorative elements look integrated into the design.

*Important Note* – The G&G Mirror Frame was originally filmed for DVD and is not quite up to the same level as other Guild projects. The price reflects that. Unfortunately, the video does not cover two important details. First, is the process of making a template from a print-out.
