In the 3 years that I have been retired and focused on furniture building, the sofa table was not only my favorite project, but taught me the most about the craft. This project has everything….milling, breadboard joinery, M&T, dovetailing, dealing with curves, inlay banding, drawers, finishing, etc. I have subsequently utilized this design in building two coffee tables and a larger puzzle table. I’ve done a few project in the past couple years but most were within my comfort zone. I wanted to take my self out of that and try something more difficult. Matt teaching style is one that I like and I think you will too, even if you’re Team Marc 😉
