barristerbookcaseWe had such a great time with our 1st apprentice, David Nichols and the Barrister Bookcase, that we’ve decided to do it again for the Tall-Case Clock!

The Tall-Case Clock is coming up in September and we will be selecting an new apprentice based on the applications submitted between now and May 31st. This is not a contest, but an actual job interview. So please take a moment to respond to each of the questions in the application thoroughly. If you applied for the Barrister Bookcase and would like to be considered again, please fill out the new application. We’ve learned a few things from the last application and we are asking a new set of questions.

If you get the “job” you would work with Marc side by side for 2 weeks (7 days a week) starting Monday, August 15th and lasting until Sunday, August 28th. The pay you would receive would be a hands on woodworking experience directly from Marc. Ideally you would want to be local, but if you aren’t you would be responsible for your own lodging and transportation (We can help you locate affordable lodging if you need).

The last day to submit your application will be May 31, 2016. From the applications submitted we hope to interview 5 individuals and make our final decision sometime in June. If you have questions about the process, please contact Nicole directly at nicole@thewoodwhisperer.com
